We’ve all seen those adverts on the TV on the run up to a bank holiday weekend – “all your favourite spirits, only £15 each, stock up for bank holiday weekend!”, ugh.
Traditionally bank holidays have been about having an extra day of boozing and not having to worry about turning up for work on the Monday.
The truth is, a boozy bank holiday makes the long weekend extra short because you spend most of it with a hangover (well, we used to anyway).
Whether you’re sober curious, early on in your sober journey, or an absolute sober legend, cutting down the booze makes your bank holiday feel longer. More energy, no foggy head the next day, and no ‘hangziety’. Overall, you rock the weekend.
Over the last year we’ve not been able to meet up with friends or family and enjoy those little moments like we once did, however, if lockdown has taught us anything (other than songs to wash your hands to) it’s that we must treasure all the time we can spend with each other. Friends, family, even the in-laws (yes, even them).
The Undrunk team love a bank holiday. Long walks with the Undrunk dogs, lazy afternoons on the sofa watching far too many box sets and enjoying delicious alcohol free drinks! Weather permitting, the team also loves a cheeky BBQ, but then again who doesn’t!
Being Undrunk doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all the fun stuff. Opting for premium low or no alcohol drinks and making an occasion out of them, whether it be at home as a family, with friends in the garden, or camping, means you can do so much more than just sticking to lime and soda.
Premium food subscriptions have been around for a while, as well as the obvious wine and gin clubs. They’re exciting and also take the effort out when you need a break. Undrunk offers the same for low to no alcoholic drinks - these aren’t your average spirits, they are hand crafted by artisan distillers and you can taste the skill, craftmanship and passion that goes into every bottle.
They’re hand-selected and personally tested by the Undrunk team; we have all these drinks in our own cabinet! They bring a huge variety of ingredients, flavours, snacks and beautiful bottles to display.
Alcohol free doesn’t mean losing any of the occasions we all look forward to, socialise at, bond over.
